The Wasp WWS652 wireless 2D barcode scanner is as affordable as it is reliable. This versatile wireless barcode scanner is capable of reading codes on mobile phones and other reflective devices. It is ideally suited for retail applications (point of sale, inventory, receiving, etc.) and general commercial applications such as access control for transportation and leisure, banking, postal services, and utilities.

Designed with user comfort in mind, the Wasp WWS652 features a new illumination and aiming system. It consists of soft dark-red illumination and two blue LED triangles pointing toward the targeted barcode, reducing operator eye strain during daily scanning activities. It also projects a green dot directly onto the code for additional confirmation of a successful scan.

The Bluetooth capabilities of the Wasp WWS652 allow it to transmit data to the host up to 82 feet from the base or to any Bluetooth-enabled device such as laptops, tablets, or smartphones. In batch mode, the WWS652 stores more than 500 linear barcodes in memory. Its long-lasting lithium-ion battery can be easily replaced without tools while simultaneously retaining current data.

The Wasp WWS652 wireless barcode scanner includes a 2-year warranty covering hardware defects. If you wish to upgrade this coverage, WaspProtect extended service plans cover accidental damage and can provide coverage beyond the original warranty.
